Premier Truck Group Body Shop

We’re proud to have partnered on the new 85,000 sq. ft. Premier Truck Group Body Shop, located on a 17-acre site in Dallas, Texas. This state-of-the-art facility includes a body shop, office building, and parts warehouse designed to support heavy-duty truck service and repair operations.
Amber Electrical Contractors joined the project at 50% completion, taking over from a previous contractor to bring the remaining electrical scope to successful completion.
Our scope of work included:

• Installation of a service-rated transfer switch and 1600A switchgear
• Construction of three electrical rooms with distribution panels and transformers
• Provisions for a future 500kW generator (owner-provided)
• Completion of a coordination study and arc flash analysis
• Installation of all interior lighting and controls
• Branch wiring for:
  • Industrial paint booths
  • Truck wash bays
  • Welders
  • Site lighting and controls

Despite challenges from underground installation issues left by the previous contractor, our team—through careful planning, expert coordination, and strong execution—delivered a safe, reliable, and high-quality electrical system that met the owner’s expectations.
