Senior Project Manager – Manager of Managers
In this leadership role, you’ll oversee and mentor multiple Project Managers, ensuring project success and upholding Amber Electricals’ commitment to excellence. You’ll lead with vision, manage with precision, and inspire with passion as you guide teams and projects to new heights.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Mentorship:
- Supervise, train, and mentor Project Managers in company philosophy, systems, and best practices.
- Guide team members in achieving their career goals and preparing for future advancement.
- Foster a positive, collaborative environment that inspires teams to deliver outstanding results.
Project Excellence:
- Lead Project Managers in developing skills such as:
- Financial accountability and cash flow management.
- Creating and managing project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Negotiating and supervising change orders.
- Overseeing job closeout documentation and ensuring smooth project transitions.
- Ensure all project objectives, policies, and procedures are clearly defined and executed.
Operational Oversight:
- Track project progress, resolve issues proactively, and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Oversee material procurement, delivery schedules, and coordination with Superintendents.
- Collaborate with the VP of Operations to manage workflows and resource allocation across projects.
Safety & Compliance:
- Uphold safety standards on all job sites and ensure proper documentation.
- Ensure team members receive appropriate training and licensing.
Performance & Development:
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and recognize success within the team.
- Motivate team members to meet project goals and adhere to milestones.
Additional Responsibilities
- Client & Stakeholder Relations:
- Represent the company in meetings with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Maintain strong relationships while protecting the company’s interests.
- Financial Management:
- Review financial reports and projections to ensure profitability.
- Monitor project budgets and assist with forecasting.
- Strategic Planning:
- Assist the VP of Operations in workflow management and personnel strategy.
- Ensure alignment between project objectives and company goals.
